The real one's far too mean.
However the author claims, there's a "true history". This leads the listener to believe the author knows the "true history".

From these two lines we are given our first real clue as to what history the author is referring to by telling us the "story" was made up centuries ago. Also the author tells the listener that he/she believes that the history as it was told is not totally false but rather watered down.

From this last line the listeners are told to gather around and focus on what is about to be told. Simple deduction from the previous lines would tell us that we are about to be told the "true" story as seen from the author's perspective.
So before we go on to the author's retelling of the history, let's pick some history that fits the mold described. Could it be Kanye's life story like so many seem to believe? Of course not! Though it may sound like it is on the surface, it does not fit the criterion we were given. Could it be the history documented in the Bible? Most would agree it fits the description of old and boring. Maybe it is maybe it isn't, let's go with it and see if it fits.

In "his" first bar, Chicago was likened to Heaven, which is consistent with a "town" of spirit and energy.
Nas is a rapper who has been suspected to be involved with masons, which would align with the context. However, we will simply define him as a rapper.
So from this we can read this line as: I'm a "Heavenly spirit" with a rappers flow

The word "bitch" in rap music is a reference often used to represent a female. We are told in Romans 7:4 that Jesus Christ also has a female bride and it is the "Church/body of Christ", made up of those who believe and follow Christ's message.
Phoebe was a woman of distinction in the Bible described by the Apostle Paul in Romans 16:1-2. She is argued as possibly being the first documented female deacon of Christianity.
Philo of Alexandria was a Jewish Biblical Philosopher. Though his exact religious beliefs are not well documented it is known that he preceded even the Apostle Paul in the preaching of God's Grace (Saved by Grace) from his dissection of the Old Testament Allegories.
So it would seem the author is promoting a NEW message/religion not aligned with the ideals of these. Note that "new" shouldn't be taken to mean this is just beginning, but rather simply a different message from the others.

Here is where things start to get interesting. Remember, the author says, "I'm the King of Leon"! Kings of Leon is a rock group and "Sex on Fire" is one of their songs. They're not just any rock group... They are three brothers whom were raised up in the church as their FATHER was a Pentecostal Preacher/Priest. They admittedly attempted to move away from their church upbringing as they developed as artists.
Interesting quotes from an interview:

Who knows if this was done subconsciously or not? Either way, they took something one would assume to be holy (a preachers' conference) and perverted it... just as Satan took The Word of God and has perverted it.

"Beyond the truest" is a jab at Jesus who is identified as The Truth. Once again the author is claiming to be higher than Jesus Christ.

In a smart-alecky tone the author refers to Jesus as teacher (which He is however) and asks him how he defeats death or in other words, bring others and himself back to life. The tenor of these lines gives the reader an idea that the author is very bitter about this knowledge that "he" does not have.

The "ignorance" (foolishness) "he" is talking about is what the world thinks to be foolishness; as in Christ's crucifixion, death and resurrection. He and the other fallen angels(we) killed prophets, many of God's ppl and Jesus Himself and still Jesus won by returning from the dead.

"night demons" refer to a specific kind of demon and are often associated with vampire-like demons and storm demons.

He wanted to wash his pain away with a metaphorical alcohol. Connecting this with the line preceding we would deduce the "alcohol" is the blood of slain humans.
But what’s worse, the pain or the hangover?
Here we see there is a temporary drop of Satan's armor, as he is questioning his decision of "drinking" away his pain in exchange for an eternity in hell. With the placement of this statement, it makes you think the cause for his moment of clarity is due to his metaphorical drunken state.

Snapping himself out of his drunken state with fresh air as one would try to help themselves while driving drunk. So we would expect him in the next line to be revived and throwing more shots at Jesus.

Here he is talking about God's use of weak things as apposed to the " powerful" things of this world. Satan seems amused as he has collected more souls by using the powerful things of the world. But Satan is futilely fighting battles as Jesus has already won the war. (In another song Kanye used this line, he states he sold his soul to the devil.)

As we all know "toys" are a metaphor for weapons, but these aren't handheld weapons, they have engines. So these are big boy toys and if you focus on the sound and not the video just after the verse is done, it sounds like a missile crashing into the ground.

Remember earlier with Niki's part where she was calling only for "children" to gather. Here again they are reaching for the "kids" or immature in knowledge of the Truth/Bible. So is he talking about a shopping mall? I doubt it. More like The National Mall in D.C. one of the most masonic enriched locations in the world... if not the most. O.K., so seance for what?

As with the other characters in this rhyme, LeBaron has a strong connection with religion. Ervil's father, Alma was a polygamist in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon his death, Alma passed the family church on to Joel, Ervil's older brother. Ervil was placed second in command...(please get the connections here). There was a power struggle between the brothers and Ervil then left his families church and founded his own. Ervil then put a hit out on Joel and had him killed. The church was then passed on to the youngest brother Verlan. Ervil tried having Verlan killed over the next decade, but was unsuccessful. Ervil was tried and convicted of killing his brother, but got off on a technicality. Ervil's followers were sent out to kill Verlan again. They couldn't kill Verlan, but the town he was thought to be in was destroyed and two other men were killed. He then went on to kill rival polygamist leaders and others who tried to leave his church. He was again tried and convicted of a murder and sentenced to prison where he wrote a 400pg "bible" and later died. "Coincidentally" his brother Verlan, whom he had been trying to kill for so long died 2 days after Ervil was found dead.
Super short breakdown of this Modern day Allegory:
Alma (God The Father) gave oldest son Joel (Jesus) the glory. Joel's (Jesus') brother Ervil (Lucifer) was envious and wanted his own glory/praise. Ervil (Satan) left his father's church with followers (fallen angels). Ervil (Satan) ordered the killing of his brother Joel (Jesus' crucifixion/death). Church was then passed to Verlan (Resurrected Jesus the Living Word/Bible). Ervil (Satan) was tried and convicted upon Joel's (Jesus') "resurrection" into Verlan. Ervil (Satan) was let off on a technicality due to the Lord wanting all men to be saved. Ervil (Satan) did all he could to kill Verlan (The Bible/Message) but couldn't. However, in trying Ervil (Satan) destroyed, through war as in the end days, the town (World). Ervil (Satan) then began to kill rival religious leaders as in the end days. Ervil (Satan) pushed his false salvation through a false bible or false religion. Ervil (Satan) met his end while imprisoned, just as Satan will meet his end in a prison of fire for eternity.

The "pills" are possibly a reference to the pills taken by Thomas in The Matrix as that is what led to him being "reborn". This would then signify that the author believes the fires will lead to his rebirth as aligned with the legend of the phoenix.
Heiress most likely refers to Lucifer as in some religions they label him next heir to the throne after Jesus Christ. In the video, the phoenix represents Satan and Kanye kisses her and directly after the love scene Kanye wakes up suddenly.

The reference to "Paris" is likely Paris, Egypt and not Paris France.
This quote illustrates the overarching theme of the video:

The trick of the Devil in this revelation is held in the occult belief of salvation. The belief that in order to be reborn/saved, one must burn and rise from the ashes as a phoenix. So the "children" will walk willingly into hell with a false hope of salvation as they fall to the the Antichrist's deceptions and there they will spend eternity.
Might I remind you that Satan's deceptions are not to come only in the last days. The occult beliefs will just simply be another and likely the last. Satan's deceptions are here now and have been here since Lucifer's fall. The occult belief is an example of Satan's most well known deception, false religions with false salvation. Any religion that does not solely proclaim, Jesus Christ as it's salvation is False and gives Satan the praise he desires. And just as the "children" in the last days will walk happily into hell seeking salvation as described by Kanye, those who follow these false religions have been doing it for centuries. This is nothing new. He was able to deceive 1/3 of the angels! Don't think you are above his deceptions. If you do not know Jesus Christ the Son of God as your Lord and Savior, you are playing with eternal fire!
